Hunh, I like the music (but I do have a weak spot for metal), probably would have been better if I were ignorant of the lyrics.

any favorites hmm ... just to make sure, that is not my favourite music, they only will go to the same contest we have been discussing about 2006 and 2007. Try attackpoint serch with "eurovision".

Bread & pastries?

especially the hole version is popular. These are not sweet, unlike Swedish rye breads (life is a bit sweeter in Sweden :).

And of course, Easter is soon and stores are already full of mämmi.

Cristina, the parody may not work at all with subtitles and most think it's not good or appropriate anyway.

About the Eurovision song, lyrics are quite lame, the chorus translations is something like:
Where the men ride
there the sheep do not rove
Where the men ride
The wolves do howl
http://www.lyricstranslations.com/eurovision/teras...

They try to be as corny as they can, for example the high tone yelling part is "susien ulvontaa(aaaaaaa)" (ulvonta = howling). They also have a theme game on their web site, you have to steer a brave lamb on a field, you try to eat grass, knights are riding across the field an you are not allowed to bump into those. Game is over after three collisions.

I want to steer the lamb, sounds like fun - did you ever see the Element (car) website game, that was deeply hilarious to play. thx for finish cookery lesson, very complete, I will peruse more and create menu w finnish component. (Um, you Finns seem pretty dour in your food, not much sugar at ALL ! except Mammi, which will FERMENT (ahahahah!!) - I like that, I like foods that change as part of their essence - like hot fudge sundae, where the hot gets cool, the cold melts, etc...
I like the sad & lyrical Rust song more.
How is your calf, and your fever ? can you go to Spain? My dad-in-law is in Spain, coming back on Friday. wave hard at him if you see an older chinese guy in Spain, OK?
(well, blablabla, hmmm, I'll just leave it)
