I hope all is well with you. I have done a similar race possibly at the same venue, if not at a similar pocket handkerchief piece of land. I did think what a clever format - you get 2, 4 ,6, 8 km courses with minimal effort -it does rely on being able to plan Courses A through D to be sufficiently different to each other to stop being over repetitive and afterwards you rather feel that you have "done" the area
Hi Charles - yes all well thanks, hope you are too. Agreed. I think they managed it really well this time - visited similar sorts of bits but always from a different direction, and at least once I thought "oh I know exactly where I am".... trouble is I wasn't.... :)
Definitely worth considering for smaller BOK events - I'd rather run on an interesting small area than a dull big area!
And in the summer it makes managing drinks stations much easier too...
