Yay for bike kid commute!

We’re also on trailer with 2 kids (Ronia and her buddy) but pretty flat and short. Someday will go for an ebike almost inevitably…although maybe not for another year or two…depending on location of next school) (our bikepool buddy’s family just got one…before they were walking…it looks fun).

Indeedy! There are some pretty awesome kiddo bike setups here - definitely e-bikes and then like whole waterproof tents on the back given the winter weather... we'll have to see where school is/what option next seems right when we return from sabbatical. (Immediate question: do we keep the Burley trailer? I think so, but Sylvia might barely fit in it when we get back...)

Judging by a few of the people I saw squeezed into bike trailers during end-of-high-school celebrations in Copenhagen yesterday, it might be good for well over a decade of additional use :-).

As much as I feel like we should trade in our boxbike for a longtail, it's just really handy to have a bike with a giant box on it. I fit three kids in it the other day: a small first grader, a Lukas-sized first grader, and a third grader!
