Like me doing all the parkruns in ACT, NT and southern WA. Qld and NSW are beyond achievable (too many and we won't be either ever living in NSW - plus I keep missing out whenever we do happen to end up in Newcastle - or else travelling across Qld to do all 110+ of them - even if we happened to move there). Vic is looking troublesome as some of the 'metro' ones require extensive Saturday morning travel (plus there are loads of rural ones but I'm gradually picking off several of those) but it looks like my next one may once again be Castlemaine in a week's time (I've already done it twice and I'm not allowed out to collect another local one this weekend).

The Bendigo orienteering fixture is slowly contracting, but this year it gave a reason for 29 trips up the Calder. That is surely enough to allow knocking off most of the Central Victorian Park Runs in a season. As for myself, my aim to to not collect every Park Run in Victoria, and I only have one blemish.

Well I had planned for my second Bendigo event for the year on the weekend but misfortune put paid to that hope (although I was 'in the area'). Also a four hour round trip for a one hour run isn't in my finance's best interests to attempt on a weekly basis - a one hour round trip for a 20 minute run is hard enough to justify - so I typically only do Bendigo if there's something else worthwhile on that weekend (sadly the Castlemaine Shifty Fifty next weekend is on at the same time as Bendigo Bush, unless I can somehow knock it over in three hours and get there before 2pm). My driving mileage has increased five fold since moving to Vic.
