Ha, I remember the first time I ran Green, and, yeah, I affected the rankings. A few people actually complained, but my feeling was, I was legitimately able to run the course as my age group and I showed people what was possible.

=) Thanks both. We'll see! But def seems the right choice with wanting recovery to go well and being more middle-focused for WG! Guess it means I won't contend for Western Champ in either category, but, oh well.

There will be more chances to get a Western Champ title, I think! And you’re right that running the shorter Green makes sense for WG training.
Just don’t make the mistake I made when I first ran Green: “it’s so short! It’ll be easy and I can run hard the whole time!” Ha.
