Guisborough1:
I saw Olsson win NOK1000 (there might be a zero missing there) in a race in Halden. It was 1990 on a training camp. At the time it was the cheesiest thing I'd ever seen (pre MAGA hats). As he ran into the finish of the richest O race ever, ABBA's The Winner Takes It All blared out. Me and my mate (Mike Wainwright) cried laughing.
Interesting he was a lineman.

Did Kent Olsson medal at WOC93?

I don't know that. I quit the sport in '91 and stopped following it.

4th in the Classic, 4th in the Relay, 11th in the "Short". (I likely have a copy of the classic map in my collection with his route drawn in by hand and signed.)

Olsson also once ran the Ontario Champs. I'm sure he's quite proud of his silver.

He also wrote one of my favorite books (in Swedish, not sure if has ever been translated). My copy is heavily used - I must have read it cover to cover 10 times.
