It took me longer to pick between UAP and One Nation for last place than any other spot on my ballot. I decided I couldn't split them and picked at random.
Yep. It came down to choosing between Clive's crazies and Pauline's looneys. Even Pauline had put George last.
Campbell Newman was still in the mix late too.
Newman is still around!? Yuck ...
There were so many crazies running in Victoria that I realised when I got to the UAP that I still had nearly 30 boxes to go. (My wooden spoon went to Monica Smit, amidst stiff competition probably Victoria's most out-there Covid-conspiracist/anti-vaxxer/sovereign citizen type).
Definitely highly amused by the possibility that Pauline might get knocked off by Legalise Cannabis.
cheering so hard for the stoners right now!
George would have been a tempting destination for my last preference in Queensland, except that he does not actually want to get elected (he's only running to rort the scheme under which MPs who lose an election get a payout equivalent to a redundancy payment). Two Queensland senators I would very much like to see the back of, Messrs Roberts and Rennick, aren't on the ballot this time.
