Congrats on the win - the path route to the left was lovely

Path to the left (we had the same leg) was really very nice indeed. Ooooh, running! I’d forgotten what it was like. And a gentle breeze on your back too to make you feel like an athlete. And no grim heather!

Yes, I would have been tempted to go left and climb/contour rather than go all the way round the track. Please to see it was only really about 30 seconds faster and so I could hold you off Chris ;-P

Yes, a good ding-dong on routegadget, fun! I think you're right Claire biking is helping my running, certainly not hindering it.
