at least you don't need to worry about getting COVID during PNWOF.

That was like the first thing Alli told me. :)

Think of all the positives!

1. Won’t get COVID during PNWOF
2. You are safely isolating from your family such that there’s zero chance you infect them
3. You got to sleep in a hotel bed instead of a cramped airplane after staying up for Tiomila
4. Your test
5. I’m being nice to you by calling a temporary moratorium on pushing my baseball = orienteering analogy on you.

So many positives!

I don't think I've seen all three colored training log flags/issues before on one entry. Well done!

Hope you are feeling well and on your way home soon.

The glass half full view - no better place than a hotel at Arlanda for following the Eurovision song contest.

That really sucks. Thinking of you. A rotten situation. Rest and heal.

And congrats to Linné!

(We could easily be / have been in the same boat…either from our trip to Sweden to see family in Feb; or just Jonas going to the office in SF…I’m going to a wedding in Canada this summer and your experience is making me keep in mind that “get stuck for ten days” is a possibility I need to consider).

I really don't think you should feel like all your precautions for the last two years were for naught. Waiting until you could be vaccinated made a huge difference! And for the hospitals not to be overloaded. And for testing to be easily available so you know to isolate. Plus, think about how many of your friends have had it: me, Ross, Sam, Cristina, Amy, Zan (maybe), and surely more. I'm guessing you don't think all of us are incredibly stupid. So be gentle to yourself, rest and recover as much as can, and I hope you feel better soon.

Well that's something I can look forward to on my upcoming trip to Sweden!

Oh man. Memories of multiple shoulder dislocations... one like this with such a painful X-ray while shoulder was frozen out in hospital... Also bummer about Covid, feel better soon!! If yours keeps dislocating, I've had great success with two shoulder surgeries (needed both shoulders done, not same one.)

I hope you recover quickly. How long do you have to quarantine in the hotel? Do they drop off food for you? Bummer of an ending to the trip, but lots of upsides to the situation, as Cristina pointed out!

Oops I’m way late to this party, looks like they let you free!
