Erin Olafsen from Up North Orienteers and Brian May from the Minnesota Orienteering Club have been selected as favorites for this weekend's US Orienteering Championships. In an e-mail poll conducted this week, May was the overwhelming favorite to win the elite M21 class. Olafsen narrowly edged out Sandra Zurcher of the Rocky Mountain Orienteering Club for the choice in F21, the women's elite division.
