Discussion: I have spied the hut while ...

I have spied the hut while perusing maps but I've never been into the hut. Is it a worthwhile trip?

Probably not in itself. Its an easy access point for some more exciting trips.

How easy is the biking? Could a bike trailer be easily towed? Is it relatively smooth? I'm wondering about a family MTB trip to the hut.

Other than the river crossings is basically a gravel road. Perfect for the kiddies. The bridge across the river at the start would be the biggest challenge but I think you could probably carry the trailer across.
