Grattis pÄ födelsedagen!
Impressive way to celebrate! Happy Birthday!!
JJ --
Why thank you. :-)
Since you are knowledgeable about just about everything, perhaps you can advise me if there was a bit of bogus in my ride. I left home right about 9:30 this morning. 77 years ago I was born at 9:44 am. So the first 3 miles or so were done while I was still 76.
I'm certainly not going to let that bother me, but I was just wondering if there are standards in such matters. There is still time (and daylight) to go do another 3+ miles this afternoon, but that ain't going to happen. :-)
But 77 years ago where you were did they go to Daylight Saving Time? Because when you left home at 0930 it was really 0830. You are younger than you think.
Or is it the other way around?
Happy Birthday Peter! 77 miles - that's impressive at any age.
Sounds to me like you were on the bike at the moment that you turned 77, and that seems just perfect. (Tougher for me to pull off that trick, since I arrived at 1:30 AM.)
Happy Birthday to my favorite orienteer! What a great way to celebrate!
Happy happy birthday! What an impressive ride.
One of the best things about this particular year is how cool the number sounds in Swedish, though that obviously doesn't come across when you just type it.
You are are setting a high bar for the over 70 group. Happy Birthday and continued good rides.
Happy birthday! What a celebration.
Happy Birthday!
This seems to be calling for you -

Happy belated birthday! And nice ride :)
Well done indeed. Maybe "80@80" would be a reasonable and enticing challenge?
Unlike "shooting your age" in golf, this gets harder every year.
Happy Birthday, you are an inspiration, I hope I can ride 77 miles in five years and three weeks from now. Keep it up.
