At the club long-O' champs for OK Tyr in Karlstadt, Sweden today, Tom Hollowell was second in H40. Big deal you say. But in first, just three minutes ahead (90 minutes to 93 for Tom for 14.2 km), was Stephen Hale. Anyone at WOC93 remembers his amazing run in the relay. Could you have been three minutes faster, Tom?

Also running was James Scarborough, recently out of retirement. Hed ran the 20.0 km H21 course in 2:22, good for 8th place. Results.

Thanks Peter for the mention. And no I couldn't have been 3 minutes faster but maybe 1-2. (Made one poor route choice) Steven is still awesome although he is now mostly training for x-country skiing. However, even more awesome are ex- world champ Sigurd Daehli (52) and my club-mate Sixten Westlund (49) who ran the same 14.2 km course in 84 minutes in H45! I did have a good day :-)
