POSTPONEMENT
It is with much sadness that I once again postpone NEOOC’s glorious restart of the Peninsula Python ROGAINE.
The pernicious nature of the COVID pandemic accompanied by a logjam of events on our scheduled weekend meant that our registration numbers were not sufficient to make additional investments in this year’s event prudent. We will now look to downscale our event on Oct. 2nd to a three-hour night O’ that is more directly targeted to our local club audience. Refunds will be made to all registrants. We hope that we have made our announcement timely enough to allow you to make other plans. We respect your time.
Finally, we appreciate the many kind words forwarded to us expressing appreciation for our event. It means a lot. And have no fear…! The Python will bite and squeeze again in 2022. We remain committed to our event. But we have also learned the importance of committing to work with other clubs and race sponsors to coordinate more than we have in the past to ensure that our collective endurance events are scheduled in a way that is more optimal for you and for us.
