Discussion: Tahoe Camping Options

Hello all, Excited to be coming to Tahoe for what sounds like it will be a great event. Looking for camping options both a few days before and the week after the event. Was holding out hope that I could find a Tahoe campsite but everything I could find online are unsurprisingly booked. Any local secrets from those closer than 3000 miles from Lake Tahoe would recommend? Tent site--even walk-in--is fine. Thanks in advance!

Yes, saw it. I do plan on reaching out to Nancy about this but was actually looking for something the few days before and week after the event. Thanks for the suggestion.

i have not camped there but have day-hiked from the staging area. it's 5-6mi from northstar, where the rogaine start is.
