For the first time in about a decade, we ate at Maccas on the way back from Renmark because it was the only thing we could find that was still open. This was a useful reminder as to why I only eat at Maccas approximately once per decade.

The evening gathering was actually a Labor function in Thornbury. It was a crowded room, although not as crowded as it must have been on the occasion some years back that 497 people (a few of whom may even have existed) supposedly attended a meeting in the office of notorious branch-stacker George Seitz.

We ate at KFC on our first night in Orange (a first for me in many years), which also reminded me why I don't eat there. McDonald's has also been a long, long time (other than a thickshake that I think Tash's sister bought for me a year or so ago that I couldn't really turn down though that might have been HJ's, either/or).

When we travel down for AV races, we go to Macca's Calder Park (both directions), this week we are going to Hungary Jacks on Keilor Park Rd

Oh, oh, does HungAry Jack's flavour everything with the national spice - paprika?

Still remember how we all got sachets of paprika in our WMOC 2011 registration bags and I claimed everyone else's :)

Shows how uninterested the orienteering world is in MTBO. Having done MTBO versions of both WOC and WMOC there I never once got any paprika!
