Okay, we will work up to it.
5 miles tomorrow, 10 miles the next day. Then 10 miles every day after that. Super easy and effective build-up.

Oh, ya can't believe I didn't think of that. 10-mile run, 5 hours core, no rest days, no orienteering. Anything else people think he should do?

perhaps eating a jar of PB a day? shouldn't be too hard for him, he just needs to make sure he's getting those calories in. that's a lot of workout.
