Is there anyone out there who is driving from Texas to Tucson and stopping at the US team training along the way, and has room to give me (gabe s) a ride? I'm driving down to Texas with mikeminium and am flying back from Tucson, so any help I can get with transportation between the two would be much appreciated.

if you don't mind traveling slow with potentially interesting scenery, the Texas Eagle (Amtrak) goes from Dallas to Tucson for $100 or so...

Thanks, I've looked into that and there is a train that leaves Austin at 7pm on Monday the 18th and arrives in Tucson very early in the morning on Wednesday the 20th. Can anyone give me a ride to Austin from Bastrop? Also, is anyone willing to share a ride (and expenses) to the Arizona training sites?

Gabe, I can either transport you myself or find a ride for you. Tom and I would like to do what we can to help as many people as possible participate in the trainings. I'll e-mail you.
