North Country Orienteering is putting on a Rogaine in Beaver Creek State Forest in St. Lawrence County, NY on September 12, 2020. The event will consist of 51 controls set out in a 3000 acre area. The map is 1:15,000 with 2.5 m contours. You have the choice of when to start, which controls to visit and how long to stay out (up to 9 hours). Whether you are out for a competitive race or a walk in the woods off-trail, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this venue. The scenery is stunning. The drive will take a little longer, but how often do you get the chance to orienteer at a new location? Details and registration are on the website.
