Apologies for the recent downtime, it was a hardware issue. We are back in action on all-new hardware now, but it might be a bit slower than normal until the cache warms up. Thanks for your patience.
If you are missing training sessions that should have synced in the last few hours, I think those services should try to re-send them later. So you can wait to see if they appear or add them manually (since we all have practice with that recently).
i was wondering about this this morning. i was thinking maybe the Eco-Challenge audience preemptively overwhelmed the servers.
Just in case you haven't heard it enough recently, thank you Ken for AP.
My first thought was a ransomware incident.
There's hardware? I figured this was all running on AWS or something.
Yes, but AWS has underlying hardware and associated hardware issues also. There is monitoring and typically (not this time) some warning before complete failure which allows moving things around without downtime.
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer...
So glad AP is back. Life feels empty without it.
Much appreciated - guessed something was up.
Yep, had a short outage but AP caught up overnight. Thanks Ken for a great service
Anyone else not having AP sync with Garmin Comnect? Or what user error might I have done?
Happened me this evening. Used manual option.
I had that problem this morning. Then I cycled my phone, with the Garmin app, on and off to clear a different problem. When I looked at AP later, my track was up and I was double booked.
Yes intermittently. From connect to Strava right away but takes quite a while to get to AP.
Seems to have sorted itself now :) Looking further I needed close and reopen garmin app as you say Walk. Thanks everyone!
Still not working. An entry from this morning showed up about 4 hours later, one from this afternoon not yet.
I can see this afternoon’s ride from 2:00 or was there another?
No, that was it, but it didn’t show up until around 7 or so
Just worked straight away for me.
