Au pair and orienteer in Stockholm this Autumn.
Like kids and like to orienteer in Stockholm?

We are looking for you to help with our three kids (1, 3 and 5 year old) and some household work from August until November 2020. Exact dates are flexible.

We live in an apartment 15 minutes from the centre of Stockholm right on the edge of a large forest which is great for orienteering training and running! This is the perfect opportunity if you want to try living in Sweden and have a focus on developing your orienteering during the Autumn season. Your average week will be around 20 hours of work (and play!), so there will be plenty of time to train and learn Swedish

Responsibilities
Help getting children ready in the morning and drop-off at daycare
Pick-up, playing with/looking after the children until we get home
Bath time and putting the children to bed some days
Keeping the house tidy with some light housework
Some food preparation
Some additional babysitting at times
Additional work if one of the children is sick

What you would get
Fully-furnished room, all meals, WiFi
Bike for getting around
Weekends off
Support with joining and one year membership for a local orienteering club
Support with training and coaching from Julian (if wanted)
Time off for training and travelling
Use of car to get to training if needed and when it's not in use (which is most of the time)
You'll also get paid an au pair allowance

If you are interested please send us a short introduction about yourself (either as a video or written) and some details about your training intentions in Sweden. Please send applications to julianadent@gmail.com as soon as possible.

We're looking forward to hearing from you!

Hmm, trade two teenagers for 3 kids under 6? Not a bad idea!

Yeah, they didn't specify an age for the au pair. I gave it at least a moment of consideration. I don't even have to worry about leaving kids behind!

I was thinking the same. Could get an au pair for my kids and go to Stockholm to look after someone else’s...
