The COF AGM approved motions specifying Sprint / Middle / Long (i.e. Classic) format for all categories for the Canadian Championships, and, pending discussions with USOF, for the North American Championships when held in Canada. (Unanimous votes on both.)

Also approved a 75 year old category for the Canadian Championships, at the request of a member. (Also unanimous.)

Defeated proposal for 5 year age categories for the Canadians (but with suggestion to form committee to discuss, particularly regarding oldest categories).

Approved proposals to include electronic punching training in officials training.

Approved a new NCCP coaching proposal that's been under development.

A couple of other motions were tabled or referred to committee (rotation of COCs, JWOC coach).

You guys in Canada seem to have arranged for some progressive, competitively-oriented leadership. Very nice!
