Discussion: 4 weeks to go

We spent some time hanging CP's for the Snowgaine and I was reminded why I love this event. I love the feel of the woods in the snow. And there was a couple inches of snow so we are hoping for a good snow base this year.

This years course should have snow and has a system of snowmobile and cross country ski trails that will make route choices interesting.

Find some snowshoes and come on out!

I'm leaning toward going to thw QOC meet in MD unless somebody twists my arm.

Looking to bring a couple friends down, do you have rental SI's or is physical punch an option?

My understanding is that it is all traditional pin punching--CNYO has always done the Snowgaines that way, since the number of teams has not generally been so large, and the controls are often out in the woods for several weeks between putting them out and bringing them back in.

Thanks for the info. I'm just curious because it asks for your SI number on the registration sheet.
