There are very strong candidates on the ballot this year, hard to pick just one.

A few days ago Barack Obama said: "Now women, I just want you to know.... what I can say pretty indisputably is that you're better than us [men]."

I hope you can make a decision based solely on the merit of the candidates, disregarding the quoted statement of the false prophet

Yurets' original comment:
"A few days ago Barack Obama said: "Now women, I just want you to know.... what I can say pretty indisputably is that you're better than us [men]."

To support American men, I voted for them in each category."

Do you think before you comment on attackpoint, or do you just type?

American men don't want your support dude.

Let's THINK CRITICALLY about this.

-- Yurets says terrible things.

-- Yurets is a man.

-- Women are better than men.

Yup, that checks out.

NM then, I had a good intention to support all those who felt devastated to learn from their guru about being inferior. See edited statement above

No worries folks the vote has the so-called "Yurets Rule" . The vote is a non-binding advisory process to be considered by the actual selection committee.

Let's not let all the weird stuff that happens on attackpoint overshadow all the great athletic performances this year. Vote!

That's good to know. Who is on the committee? IMO, should be one vote per member.

Pink Socks, logic is not your thing

If you were going based on inference...

Thanks for the tip, JanetT. The committee looks formidable.
It will make the right choice.

@gordhun, here is an alternative to "YuretsRule"

No worries Yurets. I at least know that you were pulling everyone's chain. Probably like many others you looked at the award categories and the nominees and thought to yourself that in each individual category the best chances rest with the female nominees.
"How can I ruffle some feathers?" you thought to yourself.
Mission accomplished.

I wanted to vote Halley for Comet of the Year but it hasn't even made an appearance this year.

Deadline looming, only 5 days left! ....in case you're distracted by tRicky...we are not waiting for Halley to come around.
