Does anyone on AP know anything about the 2020 Pan Am Masters Games that are taking place in Rio de Janeiro in about 13 months?

I would not take that as gospel though trickY.
You can add that it is Long - Middle - Sprint format ad the Sprint is scheduled for their Olympic complex, just like Sydney World Masters in 2009.
But the questions I have are things like is the event IOF controlled?
Has there ever been any orienteering in the venue chosen for the Middle and Long.?The Google Earth and Streetview images make it out to be terrain with steep hills/ mountains and incredibly thick vegetation.
It would be interesting to go. I have never been to Brazil. It is in a good time of year for me to travel - September, between my Canadian and Florida orienteering seasons and I can fit golf in to the program as well, that also on the Olympic venue. Dancesport too but for that we'd have to learn to dance.
