Don't forget to postmark your entries by October 29 to avoid the late fees for the Long-O Champs weekend at Fair Hill. You can also register and pay online.

Fair Hill

Also, a reminder that your USOF membership needs to be up-to-date to claim the USOF discount, and is also one of the requirements for US Champs eligibility. Some of the entrants' USOF memberships expire in October (the check is in the mail?), and some have expired as far back as May. We will be checking and contacting the affected parties.

Does anybody know what the expected winning time is for Sunday on M21?

Cristina:
The site says, "USOF standards", which implies 145 for Blue and 100 minutes for Red (I think). With 22.2 and 14.2km courses, it must be a smokin' fast place to run. At least, I hope that's true.

depends on whether jfredrickson is running I guess :)

seriously, the terrain should be substantially faster than what people are used to in DVOA-land..

Tom O:
The Long Courses have been designed for winning times consistent with the USOF guidelines, taking into account the nature of the terrain:

Brown: 60 min
Green X, Y: 75 min
Red: 100 min
Blue: 145 min
