Right ankle... I don't know, just talked on the phone with the doctor and he said it does not look normal at all, there likely is some loose parts etc. and suggested to get an expert.

After 30 years of orienteering and regular twists there may not be too many normal parts left, so I guess he wasn't able to say what is the biggest problem. Some rheumatism tests were not ready yet, but I don't think / hope there will be any news there, symptoms does not match.

Anyway, almost too weeks full rest and still a bit difficult to walk, so i don't think I'll be able to start running again anytime soon.

It may not be as bad as it sounds. I haven't injured it badly lately and I could run pretty well last summer, O week in Italy and all, so if there is something wrong it has been there for years.

I believe there is a loose piece of something and it sometimes moves to a bad place and causes pain - like in O gala. And I didn't rest well after that, but ran instead a 10 hour week with that slightly injured ankle, so it's not so big surprise it needs some rest. My current pains may be just overstressing symptoms, and my not have nothing to do with the strange things the doctor saw in my x-ray images. After 30 years of O ankle shouldn't look normal, it should look much stronger...

So don't count on me not running in 10mila for Rastivarsat.
