There has been a bit of confusion about what class JWOC Team Trial participants should run at the Jr. Nat'ls.

Since this event is the Junior Team Trials, in addition to the Junior Nationals, the ISVF class will run the same course as the ICVF class, which will be intermediate between a Brown and Green course.

Similarly, the ISVM class will run the same course as the ICVM class, intermediate between Green and Red.

The Junior Team Trials will be held on these Varsity courses. So, team trialers, please sign up for applicable IS or IC Varsity class, and not F/M-20, unless you are out of high school and not attending a college.

Is there also a Friday race that will be part of the JWOC trials? There is no information about said race on the QOC website, and it is not included in Event Reg pre-registration for the weekend. Is there any info about time, cost, how to register?

My understanding is that there is a sprint on Friday afternoon, organized by the Jr. ESC. I'd contact them for info, as QOC is not involved afaik. I think it will be at George Mason U but I'm not positive.

Peggy's understanding is correct on all counts - sprint at George Mason University very late in the afternoon on Friday, April 12, with the Junior Team organization mostly running the show (QOC is arranging the permit and insurance coverage and will supply a few volunteers in addition to those the junior team can muster and perhaps the loan of some equipment). Sorry it took rather a long time to get that settled - the contract with the university Events Office is in fact still to be inked, hopefully on Friday.
