Discussion: Vancouver

How long are you there for? I've got an IPCC meeting there 7-11 January, but am flying in on the 1st (mainly because flights are more than $1000 cheaper then), then going across for a few days on Vancouver Island.

I'm here til the 13th, but briefly going to Phoenix for the AMS 5-10. I will gladly join for some running if you are interested. We are having a group run tomorrow (Jan 1) in Pacific spirit park starting from 5626 Alma street, which is where we are staying. Feel free to join if you'd like. We are tentatively thinking 3 pm so we can run in the day time.

Won't get in in time to make 3pm today (and in any case will probably be less than fresh after 24 hours' travelling). On Saturday 12th I don't fly out until 8pm and have the day free at this stage, so that might be a good option?

The 12th would work perfectly. Would it be possible for you to make it to 5626 Alma street at around 10? Some other orienteers will join for a run too. Pacific Spirit park is very close by. Stay for lunch afterwards too if you want.

I think that will work, but will confirm closer to the day.

Should be there - just have to hope my calf/Achilles are up to the job now. (I am a lot slower these days than I was in 2011...).
