Hi All,
I am pleased to announce that the 2019 WOC Team Trials will take place at the annual west point national meet April 26-28. With the change in the WOC format the senior ESC has shifted the way selection will happen. For full details here is the link to the page https://orienteeringusa.org/us-teams/senior/trials...

Here are the most notable changes:
1. Winner of the middle distance will be automatically selected to race the middle.
2. The winner of the long will be automatically selected to race the long.
3. In the case that we are able to put on a third event which will be a mass start relay type event with forking the winner will be automatically selected to the relay. In the case where there is no relay event the top 2 finishers will be automatically selected to the middle distance from the middle distance race.
4. All other needed spots will be filled by the selection committee. Here I would encourage athletes to read the metrics and the rubric that will guide the committees decision so you are familiar with them and give yourself the best chance possible.

For further questions about the selection process please message me. Happy New Years!
