Will there be mtbo at this event? I saw there was in the past

Please provide collateral (driver's license or car keys) when borrowing a compass or epunch.

If you lose your compass, we're taking your car!

Car keys are the best collateral, because it greatly reduces the chances that somebody will drive away and forget to return the compass/epunch. With a driver's license, it just complicates the headaches for everyone if they forget and drive away.

Tash once had someone else drive away with the keys for her rental car, coincidentally at a MTBO event (they had two sets and the second driver incorrectly took hers instead of theirs).

Hopefully you'll have MTBO because it's awesome although the website doesn't make any mention of it.

I ask because I checked accotink a few times but the overview page never switched to ‘mtbo+classic’ and must have been added pretty late to the details

I found out there isn't a course setter yet so it hasn't been decided either way.

Right, I have yet to appoint a course setter. Do you think we'd get much interest in MTBO from the northern contingent? I think the lower trails may have been flooded in June, and there's another flood warning out right now for the Patapsco valley. We'll have to see what's usable when things dry out.
