Discussion: Accommodation and car sharing

Post for anyone interested to share accommodations and car.

I am very much interested to share hotels near South Bend on Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday night near Sunday venue.

I am flying DTW, arriving Thursday 3pm and departing Sunday 3:40pm. Have a rental car reserved. Let me know if there is interest in sharing.

Will gladly chip my share of expenses.

Is anyone driving from Chicago to South Bend Friday evening? Thinking of taking a flight that gets to ORD at about 7:40pm and would like to share a ride.

I have not looked into pricing, but don't neglect to look into flights directly into South Bend (SBN). It is surprisingly well-served by several major airlines (Allegiant, American, United, Delta) with non-stops from about a dozen US cities. Would much prefer flying to SB but options are too limited from my departure point.

Update: can’t fly anywhere on Friday, no ride needed.

Next question: does anyone want a ride/share the driving from the end of the event to a point between Detroit and Boston? Meaning southern Ontario or along I-90 between Buffalo and Boston.
