Discussion: Marginata Event 20th May Western Australia CANCELLED

Unfortunately due to a prescribed burn across the whole of the map area the Orienteering Event scheduled for this Sunday 20th May is cancelled.

We will look at re-schedule the event later in the year.

Sorry for the inconvenience but it is out of our control.

Avoiding burning despite organised events known to DPaW seems to be out of DPaW's control too.

WMOC 2002. Walking through the office of the forest manager (as they were co-located with my department) and saw on screen a planned burn for the site of the WMOC Qualifiers scheduled for the day of the event. This was a couple of weeks before the event. Purely luck it was noticed.

You clearly were not at the 1989 US Team Trials.

So we still could have used the western side of Yarra? I think the setters gave up too easily. :)

No I think he's saying you could have used part of the US.
