Discussion: Updates?

Any more info on the event like bulletins or programmes? I couldn't find anything online.

It's there but you may be seeing an issue with the website. When I click AP's "event website" link in chrome on my android phone I get the welcome page but with the menu missing. When I click it on a laptop with firefox I get the same page but WITH a menu down the left side, where I can click on Bulletins (and a number of other useful items) and they are there. Haven't tried all permutations but clearly their server is sending different content based on browser id.

We are working through some final issues with IOF eventor to get registration open and bulletin 2 published.

If it doesn't work for you, you can get to the same info by going to the main craftsbury website, selecting skiing from the top menu, then ski orienteering 2018 from the left menu.
Most of what is in bulletin 2 is already on the website.

I see that on a mobile browser you can click the "hamburger" (☰) icon in the lower right to show the menu.

Wow, that's really well hidden. I had to scroll the screen all the way down and all the way to the right in order to bring the hamburger into view. Then after clicking it and waiting a while for it to "finish loading" (because the only visual was the hamburger moving vertically up and most of the screen going blank) I finally hit upon the idea to scroll the screen back to the left, which did indeed bring the menu into view.

I suspect this is because of the width of the image in the page, which sticks out much farther to the right that everything else and may be forcing a larger width on the bar at the bottom. Might be worth substituting a narrower image in the mobile browser version? Or moving the hamburger to the left side?

Ouch... when I flip the screen into landscape mode the text above the image adopts the width of the image (which does not happen in profile mode), thus necessitating scrolling the screen left and right, left and right, as I try to read it.

The website says that the early registration deadline is November 15th, but the Eventor registration page says December 1st.

Early registration has in fact been extended to December 1st due to delays in opening registration. The IOF had to sort out getting paypal funds back to us from Eventor.
