Help the environment with Ontario Champs medal recycling! Last year two experienced, talented orienteers returned several dozen Ontario Champs medals to Orienteering Ontario to use at future championships. This was very much appreciated since these beautiful medals cost $5 each.
This got us thinking... We know many people cherish their medals and want to keep them - and so they should. But if you have collected more medals than you need or if you don't care much about medals, we would be very happy to take them back and award them to new medal winners.
Please write us at info@orienteeringontario.ca if you have medals you'd be willing to return for reuse. The photo below shows the Ontario Champs medal design, both white and orange. They come with red, blue and white ribbons, and we are collecting all three. Thank you!
