sorry mat but walking is not training -i walk to the shops and back every lunch -it's nice but it aint training.
Passing the "is it training" Nails questionnaire:
1) Do you break a sweat?
2) Do you have to change into running/cycling shoes (note: walking shoes/boots/fashion shoes don't comply)?
3) Do you wear clothes that you wouldn't wear to the pub/work?
If it's zero intensity it doesn't show up as training - that's what the function is for. Some 'non-training' activities can still be tiring and affect the other training you do so it's still worth logging them. I thought about logging surveying as zero intensity, cos it's hard to train afterwards.
neil. i understand where you are coming from completely BUT - I haven't added it as "training" in the drop down menu - I select "none" and the intensity is "zero"... (...and it's nice for my parents to see that the walk made it into my attackpoint :-) ) So to sum it up...

Seeing as your "is it training" Nails questionnaire doesn't seem to allow Andy Hill runs as training I would question its validity.
What makes you think when it is zero intensity it doesn't show up as training? At the moment it shows up in both mat-d's weekly total and counts in the training page rankings for who has done the most?
so it does - well it adds it to the total, but puts me on the "training" page where I should be without the 0 intensity - i.e. 7:05 minus the 1:40... at 5:25.
Then shows my activity total at 7:05, which i suppose is true. confusing or what?!
whats an Andy Hill run? Actually I think I can guess -I don't sweat, I have the same shorts/trainers/tee -I run and go to work and the pub.
OJ now I agree that surveying which is both mentally and physically draining and generally lasts all day could be logged -I used to log it as maybe as 1 hour for every 6. But i've stopped that as I've gone straight from Tankersley to the pub without changing or breaking a sweat.

An Andy Hill run is the run home from the pub, whilst still wearing your pub clothes and fashion shoes. Usually plenty of sweating involved though and often horrendous chafing. Obviously the pub isn't just around the corner from home....
nice -I did abit of AndyHill on the way home yesterday -though I stopped before the horrendous chaffing.
Nope no fights for me i'm scared of mat's big climbing muscle. If you want to see a fight though i'll fight you craney....
