Discussion: MONT 24

Who's going to be at the Mont at Majura this weekend? I'll be there (with my new bike!!!) in a Race Elements team. There are 3 RE teams, so we should be pretty easy to find - keep an eye out for the fleet of green yeti team bikes!

How come there is a Scott 24 and a Mont 24? Is there really enough demand for 24 hour races in Canberra?

actually the scott is the original, the mont is the 'new' race by the original creater/head honcho for the scott after he got disgruntled that the scott was getting too big.

So the scott is the old mont, the mont is the new mont, the mont was the original but not the new mont, the old mont, which is now the scott, but the original mont organiser now organises the new mont, not the original mont, which is now the scott. The result being that there are now two 24 hour MTB races in Canberra within two weeks.

Easy, i don't know what all the confusion is about.
