Discussion: Importing GPX from Strava - pauses

I have a feeling I've seen this discussion before on AP but I can't find it... :(

I've just imported a gpx file from Strava, which I paused for a few minutes during the run. Strava showed up fine but there's a gap in the AP upload. I've edited the log time manually so it's correct but just flagging in case it's a bug in the upload, or a bug in the GPX from Strava. Any ideas?

This is really a problem with the GPX file format in general. GPX doesn't have a way to indicate pauses, laps, or "stopwatch" time.

If you can export TCX or FIT you should get better results.
