Discussion: Speed Skating in Rochester

If you are in Rochester next weekend come and see my son Ansis skating up close and personal. Rochester Speed Skating Team is hosting its annual International Short Track Speed Skating meet at ESL arena on weekend of Oct-20 and Oct-21. It's two day event.

Racing starts at 8AM on Saturday and Sunday, goes till about 6PM Saturday, 3PM on Sunday.
Admission is free.

Ansis will be sporting skin-suit provided US Speed Skating federation as Category 1 skater (for his 1st place at NA Champs last year).

Ansis will be skating at least 4 times up to about 10 times if he advances from his heat to the next round.

I won't be able to be a tour-guide for the meet if you come since I will be head-timer for the meet.

Georg Nadorff just recently joined RSST and might be at the meet competing. Georg Nadorff used to be active ROC member, nowdays he pops in about once per year at ROC meets.
