I think that (a) you had a good run and (b) OK Linné's 2nd team was less motivated than usual after mispunching on the 2nd leg. Not sure how that influenced the results... Maybe you should join me in flying to the US Champs to see whether you too could represent the US internationally. :)

Haha, no way! Better keep this illusion going than let everybody see how hopelessly slow I am after all. Because I know I would no chance at all against top US orienteers. I might have some slight chances only if the race is held in Lahti region, in a terrain I know very very well.

Yes. That's why it may be better if I don't try. If I try I'll know, and result list may not be too beautiful to look at. Most likely it would look a lot like this:
