jima:
The Wicked Hard Night-O is back on again at UNO's Camping Weekend in the lovely boulder-strewn terrain of Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, NH.
I can't promise torrential downpours as we've sometime experienced in the past and it will only be sorta dark - moonset isn't until 12:43 am.
Phase of the Moon on September 10, 2016: Waxing Gibbous with 62% of the Moon's visible disk illuminated.

What you're signing up for:
Originally envisioned as a Motala (where there are multiple loops passing through the start/finish) this was modified to be a butterfly 3-loop course – with a common control closer to the challenging / fun / “you’ve-got-to-be-kidding-why-would-anyone-go-in-there-at-night” terrain. From the start where they will receive maps for all loops, runners will proceed to the common first control, then can choose the order to do the loops 2-6, 7-11, 12-15, where 1, 6, 11 & 15 are the common control.
Winner will be determined first by most numbers of controls visited, then by time for all runners getting that number of controls. All runners getting all 15 controls, no matter how slow, beat any runner, no matter how fast, who only gets 14.
You will only receive credit for controls punched within 1 loop at a time – you must punch the common control to begin another loop. You may skip any controls within a loop that you want, but must take the remaining controls in order, i.e., you can go 1-2-4-5-6 (or 1-2-4-6), but not 1-2-4-3-6. The common control counts each time you punch it, but you must punch at least one control out on a loop between punching the common control (i.e., you can’t punch 1, 6, 11, 15 (all the common control) then return to the finish claiming 4 controls – you’ll be credited with 1).

Please let me know by mid-day Friday if you intend to run. There's enough woods for a lot of runners, just need to have maps ready for you.
