I meant to post this in the orienteering side of AP and I think I landed on the dark side of adventure racing. Anyway, re-posting -

Attackpointer and US Ski-O Team member Ari Ofsevit was on track for a 3-h marathon, but then he made the front page news, and not in the way he wanted:

Sounds like he's recovering well, but that's some scary stuff.

In a very small-world moment, it looks like fellow attackpointer Jim Driscoll was the guy who helped him to the finish line!
