Silent Auction to benefit the Team going to the World University Orienteering Championships, July 28-August 4, 2016 in Miskolc, Hungary.
The 3rd fundraiser for the WUOC Team that is being organized is a Silent Auction at NEOC's Troll Cup (Apr. 16-17). As in previous years there will be early bird on-line bidding. Here's how it works: folks find stuff that they have no use for but that would have some value to someone else. By sending me (wornerkohn at gmail dot com) a jpg of the object I will post it on AP where anyone can bid on the item. Bring the items to the meet. All items will be displayed with a bid sheet. At the end time of the bidding the “winner” puts in the donation for their item and takes it home. If the person is not at the meet but bid on line, we will make arrangements to get it to you. Donations can be made on line at the OUSA web site.
Of course, it is also acceptable to make a donation directly to the University Team by sending a check payable to OrienteeringUSA or by going to the “donate” button on the OUSA web site (upper right). Make sure to designate that you want the donation to go to the WORLD UNIVERSITY TEAM.
The cost for each team member is ~$950 plus airfare, please be generous.
Many thanks to BAOC and all those who participated in the Maze-O at the US Champs. Tori Borish and Izzy Bryant ran the event, both are trying out for the team.
A “Crossroads Orienteering” event was held at the Flying Pig. Izzy took the lead on this with lots of help from OCIN members Andrea Schneider and Thurston Miller. Thanks to everyone who participated and supported the WUOC Team.

This is an amazing list of prizes! As an athlete benefiting from this support I greatly appreciate all those who have donated and the time linda has spent on organizing this!
So please I know I speak for the team, bid on this great list of prizes!! As students every penny really does mean a lot to us trying to afford to race!
Sorry, stupid question. How do I bid?

:)
Yeah, but how do i know the current highest bid?
Linda, do you know where and when you'll have items displayed (wondering where to bring our box o' stuff)? Final bids are due when?
Items will be displayed at the Saturday night banquet, I'll be setting up at 5:30. I will try to have some posted at the meet Saturday, probably out of our car.
@Boris - latest bids can be seen on line right here or you can call Linda - 585-354-9053. No guarantees. All bidding (both in person and on line) closes at 8pm...unless plans change in which case I'll post the new time.
There has been lots of good O stuff donated, don't let these opportunities pass you up...especially the A meet entries (GAOC, NTOA, CTOC, NAOC, ROC, Rocky Mt. O Fest)
ps I have not received any on line bids...as yet.
