I am the race director for The Possum Trot XVI at Shawnee Mission Park, in Overland Park, ks. I hope you can join us in the Kansas City Area on November 22, or come early for the whole weekend by attending the Sprint race at Johnson County Community College on 11/21.

The Possum Trot is a 15km mass start goat style orienteering race. We also offer a 7.5km Half Possum. The competition will be tough, and the course will be challenging. Following is allowed... but at your own risk. 15km is a long race measured in straight line distances. The actual distance could be much greater than that.. Fun! Special Medals for all finishers, and awards for the winners! Visit our Facebook Page for more info.

Someday I hope to run in the PT, but if that's too far you can come to Boston instead.

Someday I hope to run the Grand Slam (Billygoat, Highlander, Traverse, Possum Trot), but that's obviously not an option this year.

Another option for that weekend is to go to the Bubba Goat to Alabama.
If you run in denim overalls, 15 minutes will be subtracted from your time.
If you start already legally drunk -- 30 minutes are taken off.

It can't be a Grand Slam - or would that make it the Big 5? - if you don't have the Navi-Gator on your schedule.

Not to mention the Golden Goat, this Sunday just east of San Francisco. We've got more hills than anybody ;-)

Yeah, well, in addition to letting you get to more events, that could substantially enhance your results!
