Thought I'd start a generally named thread, in case there's other similar advice.

We found that Shepody Inn - which apparently doesn't show up on Google or Tripadvisor searches - is pretty close to the NB events, and has some remaining availability (we just cancelled, switching spots a night.)

If I'm not mistaken, the Shepody Inn is in Alma -- a nice town right on the bay near Fundy NP (site of the 2008 COCs). Distance-wise, it's comparable to Moncton -- albeit closer to Hopewell Rocks.
