Attackpoint is back thanks to heroic Ken's efforts. I think, Attackpoint users could help to add some backup hardware (e.g., another hard drive, tape backup) by sending few $$. Buying Attackpoint's apparel is a way to show your support. However, there should other support options besides that I just don't like white cotton T-shirts. E.g., sending a direct check could eliminate 3rd party services, shipping/IRS hassles and decrease the minimum support amount. Other options? Comments?

This would probably be a good opportunity to ask for contributions. Sort of like a PBS sponsorship drive, without the interminably annoying pleas for help. So if you like Attackpoint as much as some people like the Antiques Roadshow (err, perhaps that's not the best analogy), here's your chance to put your money where your browser is. What say you, Ken? Care to throw out a number that we could contribute to defray the cost of your valuable service?

Attackpoint is back? Hmmm, I guess I haven't trained in a while because I didn't notice it was down. I find Attackpoint valuable and would be pleased to contribute money.

Attackpoint is this days ,one of the factors, that helps me ,to get better prep. for my orienteering activities and I log on to the site on daily basis, sometimes several times a day.I do want to suport the site financialy, and I believe if you Ken,will post something on attackpoint regarding how anybody who is willing to contribuite with money, can get his contribution to you, or where you decide that the money should go ,to help with the restoration work ,or for that matter to help maintaining attackpoint. And then the people interested to contribute can send the amount they think they can afford at the time, and maybe set something up for time to time contributions for the ones willing.

Thanks guys. $5-20 seems like a very reasonable annual contribution (just think how much you enjoy it) though I'll gladly accept more or less. after all, you should be saving most of your money for traveling to o-events!

I plan to give recognition to those who have made donations, but if you would like to remain anonymous, just include a note to that effect.

Ken - Why don't you also bump up the T-shirt, coffee mug price by $15-20; change the design slightly each year with a new date and we can support the site and promote it at the same time.

Attackpoint Cup!
Name the unofficial Match of North American cities the Attackpoint Cup!
Raise money through the inter-city challenge that has emerged from discussions on this page (ie., the Boston vs. New York, vs. Hamilton, vs. ?? challenge). Money raised through T-shirt sales (a different design each year), donations at events, T-shirt advertisement, etc.
