The one route on Green that's been posted, gps track for Ching-Hua, ends shortly after 11. When I tried to upload my track, it ended at the same place (so I aborted the upload to RouteGadget).

I think it might have to do with the uploaded splits missing two controls. I noticed that the splits posted to WinSplits are missing a few controls (goes from control 103, #9 on Green, to 100, #12).

Mea Culpa. In copying the courses from those in OCAD which Kysenia gave me to OR I inadvertantly missed out controls 102 and 124. I think I can fix it just by adding them back into OR (as all the greens show them as additional punches) and re-exporting the splits file.

Thanks! Mine is posted. I'm still not sure what I was thinking going to number 11. :-)

Nice, quite exciting - and some "unorthodox route choices"...(or maybe they weren´t really choices?)

F60+ with 25 years of experience orienteering (I still make stupid mistakes, but not very often), vs an F35+ who moved up to Green courses just this year. Give her time and more practice and she'll be leaving me in the dust. ;-)

Yes, I knew about the age difference and difference in experience - that´s what makes orienteering so fascinating...

On my long leg 7-8, I was trying to run AWAY from the water but I somehow kept getting drawn back to it! Like in a (bad) dream....

It looked like more ups and downs going right around the big hill as you did, which I why I took the other route. I would think the hill might push you down toward the water without you thinking much about it (or maybe your brain subconsciously wanted you to go swimming). :-)
