Curious to know who from the AP community might be attending the ESRI User Conference this summer in San Diego. It is my first time attending and I thought it would be fun to get out and meet a couple other orienteers if present. Maybe go for a training run? I'll try to set up an event/race for it. Cheers!

Awesome! Good to know there are a few folks attending. Planning on running the 5k for sure. Not sure of my exact hotel location yet - need to check in with the boss man next week and will get back to folks when I know. I did set up an event for the conference to check AP attendance.

How come no o'ers attended the years I did? (Or perhaps they did, we just didn't know it... Next time, I'll be sure to reach out.)
The 5k is worth doing. It's right along the water, flat, and tolerable for a pavement race. I don't recall it being quite as early as 6 a.m. but it is first thing in the morning.

Looks like it's July 20-24. Too bad SDO doesn't have a meet around then. Maybe you guys can get their Balboa Park map and run around there.
