From the brief description of one of your "lunches" at Alvaro's table, I can understand why he might not be slender and fit. Hope to hear more about your menus before you come home.

We used to have a very Italian neighborhood on Chicago's west side. And virtually all the men would spend their evenings walking around, chatting with other guys, and promenading. Women would remain out of sight. Maybe a cultural tradition?
