That's why there are six coaches... so someone else can lead practice now and then =). I didn't want to drive all the way out to GBF, and Gunther had it covered. Good for the kids to ski somewhere new, at least.
As for technique, skating is a lot more fun when you have a better idea of how to do it. I think Weston offers lessons every night of the week, and it's probably a worthwhile investment. The key thing is to try and glide on each ski, comfortably. Good for balance training!
I can glide on the skis, I just don't seem to have a natural cadence. I don't know what is out of sync.
